Lovely Wishes Any Occasions Card (CT #136)

Stampin Up, Stampin' Up! Lovely Wishes stamp set #145924, Petal Passion designer series paper #145589, Layering Circle Framelits #141705, CASEing Tuesday, created by Stampin Scrapper, for more cards, gifts, ideas, scrapbooking and 3D projects go to stampinscrapper.com, Joyce Whitman

Are you enjoying the CASEing Tuesday series?  I hope you are getting inspiration to create your own projects or make the one on here.  I haven't made a black and white card in a long time.  The Petal Passion designer series paper and the Lovely Wishes stamp set in the occasions catalog are perfect for this card.  It is a simple, but classic card.

27067358_10212608469661082_4094368099273940261_n

I used a layout very similar to this one a couple of weeks ago and couldn't wait to use it again.

To make this card you will need the following products:

Whisper White Thick Cardstock #140272

  • cut at 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" score at 4 1/4"

Basic Black Cardstock #121045

  • cut at 2 3/4" x 2 3/4"

Whisper White Cardstock #100730

  • cut at 2 3/4" x 2 3/4"
  • cut at 3 1/2" x 4 3/4"

Petal Passion Designer Series Paper #145589

  • cut at 3 3/4" x 5"

I used the Scattered Sequins Embossing Folder on the Whisper White cardstock and the ribbon is the Black 3/8" Shimmer Ribbon behind the circles.  The stamped image and black circle are cut out with the Layering Circle Framelits.

Any time I use ribbon under another layer of cardstock, I always pop up the layers that go on top of the ribbon.  Otherwise, the top layer doesn't lay flat. There are bumps from the ribbon.  I added rhinestones to add a little bit of bling.

StampinUpLovelyWishes2018OccasionsCASEingTuesdayStampinScrapperJoyceWhitman4 2

I stamped the same image that is on the front of the card inside the card and on the envelope.

I am so excited for my sister, Jean!  She was chosen as the teacher of the month!  For some reason I can't get the video to load onto my post, but I do have it on my FaceBook page.  I will have to tell you, they do not say our last name correct, which is nothing new.  LOL

Click HERE to watch the video.

I will have to say, my sister is an awesome teacher!  I can remember when I was younger, 2nd grade, when she was my teacher for religion classes.  I couldn't understand why I had to call her Miss Maslowski and not Jean.  She was my sister, I wasn't going to call her anything but Jean.  Yes, I was very stubborn even way back then.  LOL

Thank you for stopping by today!  I hope you have an awesome week!

Happy Birthday Gorgeous Recessed Panel Card

Stampin Up, Stampin' Up! Happy Birthday Gorgeous stamp set #143662, Wood Textures Designer Series Paper Stack #144177, Stitched Shapes Framelits #145372, Layering Oval Framelits #141706, created by Stampin Scrapper, for more cards, gifts, ideas, scrapbooking and 3D projects go to stampinscrapper.com, Joyce Whitman

I apologize for the delay in this post this morning.  I was having issues with my internet.  Everything is good now.  Yay!!!

I have been wanting to make a recessed panel card for quite a while now and thought this would be a great time to do it.   I was a little intimidated by it, if I am honest.  Looking at samples on my computer, I just couldn't figure out how did they get the section with designer paper lower than the rest of the card.  So, I went to the first place I go when I am trying to figure something out, Google!  Thank goodness for them!

When I watched a video on YouTube on how to do it, I was shocked at how easy it was to make.  What had I been waiting for?  I am going to share with you just how easy it is to make.

To make this project you are going to need the following products:

Very Vanilla Thick Cardstock #144237

  • cut at 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" score at 4 1/4"

Very Vanilla Cardstock #101650

  • cut 2 at 3/4" x 5 1/2"
  • cut at 2 1/4 x 3 1/4" for the sentiment

Early Espresso Cardstock #119686

  • cut at 1" x 5 1/2"
  • cut at 2" x 5 1/2"

Cajun Craze Cardstock #119684

  • cut at 2 1/4" x 3 1/4"

Wood Textures Designer Series Paper Stack #144177

  • cut at 1 3/4" x 5 1/2"

The first thing you will do is adhere the Wood Texture designer series paper onto the Very Vanilla Thick cardstock base.  You are going to come in 3/4" from the left hand side of the card base (where the fold is).  You will then take the two skinny strips of Very Vanilla paper and adhere it to the two pieces of Early Espresso cardstock.

Adhere the Early Espresso pieces using Stampin Dimensionals and line them up with the outside edges of your card.  You now have the recessed part of your card finished.

Stampin Up, Stampin' Up! Happy Birthday Gorgeous stamp set #143662, Wood Textures Designer Series Paper Stack #144177, Stitched Shapes Framelits #145372, Layering Oval Framelits #141706, created by Stampin Scrapper, for more cards, gifts, ideas, scrapbooking and 3D projects go to stampinscrapper.com, Joyce Whitman

Next, stamp your sentiment using the Early Espresso ink and cut it out with the Stitched Shapes Framelits.  The layer behind the sentiment was cut out using Cajun Craze cardstock and the Layering Oval Framelits.

To keep the sentiment level on both sections of the card (part is on the Early Espresso and part of it is on the Wood Texture paper) I used two different types of adhesive.  I put snail adhesive on the section that is on the Early Espresso paper and a dimensional on the section that is over the designer series paper.  You can see in the picture above what area I am talking about.

I love making easy cards that have a WOW factor to them, and this one definitely has that.

Amazing You Card

Stampin Up, Stampin' Up! Amazing You #147212, Oh My Stars Embossing Folder #143710, Layering Circle Framelits #141705, 2 1/4" Circle Punch, Sale-a-Bration 2018, created by Stampin Scrapper, for more cards, gifts, ideas, scrapbooking and 3D projects go to stampinscrapper.com, Joyce Whitman

Did you get in the first round for the new Stamparatus?  I got my email yesterday that I needed to finish my order.  I was so excited! I know you are going to love your new tool.  I use it all the time.

If you are wondering how I already have one, it is because I am on the Leader 2 Leader team.  We are a team of demonstrators from all over the world working together with Stampin' Up! to help develop new products.  This was the big project we were working on for the last 2 years.  Can I tell you it was so hard not to say anything to all of you.  We had to sign a confidentiality agreement to be on this team.  Now I can talk about it all I want!  I can't tell you enough how much I love this product!!

This was my first card that I did in my classes, so my customers could play with the Stamparatus too.  One of the panels I used for the blue sentiments and one panel for the Calypso Coral sentiment.  I have to say, one of my top reasons why I love this products is you can stamp over and over the same image and your paper doesn't move.

To make this project you will need the following products:

Night of Navy Cardstock # 100867

  • cut at 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" score at 4 1/4"
  • cut at 4" x 5 1/4"
  • cut at 3" x 3"

Calypso Coral Cardstock #122925

  • cut at 4 1/8" x 5 3/8"
  • cut at 3" x 3"

Whisper White Cardstock #100730

  • cut at 4" x 5 1/4" for the inside
  • cut at 3 3/4" x 5" for the front
  • cut at 3" x 3"

This is a real fast and easy card, especially with the Stamparatus, that you could make a lot of them at one time.  The first thing I did was stamp my sentiment from the Amazing You stamp set in the Sale-A-Bration catalog with Night of Navy and Calypso Coral inks.  I then punched it out with the 2 1/4" Circle Punch.  The other circle layers were cut out with the Layering Circle Framelits.  I used the Oh My Stars embossing folder on the white cardstock and added Rhinestones to give it a little bit of bling.  I popped up the circles using the Stampin Dimensionals.  The other layers were adhered with Snail Adhesive.

I added Celebrate to my envelope in the bottom left hand corner.  Shelli (co-founder of Stampin Up!) always says, don't send out a naked envelope.

Thank you for stopping by today.  I hope you have a great day!

Welcome to CASEing Tuesday!!  Today's card combines products from the annual catalog and from the Sale-A-Bration catalog.  Do you know which one is from the Sale-A-Bration catalog?

I used the Tutti Frutti Card and Envelopes from the Sale-A-Bration catalog and the Birthday Blossoms stamp set, Delightful Daisy designer series paper and the Daisy punch from the annual catalog.

This is the card that I used for inspiration this week.

27072240_10212608465780985_1457734081172991360_n

To make this project you will need the following products:

Tutti Fruitti Cards and Envelopes #147242

  • I used the Calypso Coral one

So Saffron Cardstock #105118

  • cut at 2 3/4" x 6"

Pool Party Cardstock #122924

  • cut at 3/4" x 4"

Delightful Daisy Designer Series Paper #144137

This is a real easy card that you can make a lot of at one time.  I used this card for my swap at my Joyful Butterflies team meeting this week.

I used the Calypso Coral design from the Tutti Frutti card pack.  The Delightful Daisy designer series paper was cut with the Layering Circle Framelits and I used the Daisy punch to make the flower.  The center of the flower is the biggest gem in the Clear Faceted Gems.

For the banner I used the Pool Party cardstock and embossed it with the white embossing powder.  The sentiment is from the Birthday Blossoms stamp set.  I used the Banner Triple punch to make my banner cut on it.

I used Stampin Dimensionals to adhere the circle, but used snail for the flower and banner.

Magical Day Kids Card

Stampin Up, Stampin' Up! Magical Day stamp set #145857, Magical Mates Framelits Dies #145660, Tutti Frutti Cards and Envelopes #147242, Layering Oval Framelits #141706, created by Stampin Scrapper, for more cards, gifts, ideas, scrapbooking and 3D projects go to stampinscrapper.com, Joyce Whitman

Have you seen the adorable stamp set, Magical Day, and coordinating framelits, Magical Mates, in the occasions catalog.  I have to say, when I read magical day, I immediately thought of Disney World.  Since we are going back in July, I knew I had to get this set for my scrapbooking pages of our trip. Another great thing about this stamp set and framelits is they come in a bundle!  You can save 10% when you purchase both of them together.

I made this card for my niece's son and one of my daycare angels.  The card base is from the Sale-A-Bration catalog and they are called the Tutti Frutti Cards and Envelopes.  You can earn the card bases and envelopes FREE when you purchase $50 or more in product.  The one thing that impressed me with these cards are how sturdy they are.  They already have a design on them, so all you have to do is put a sentiment on it and you are ready to go.  Perfect for when you in a card in a hurry.

I used the Blends to color in the dragon and then cut it out with the matching framelit.  I used the dark and light Old Olive color and red is colored with the Stampin Write Marker in Real Red.

For the sentiment I stamped it twice.  Once in black and once in Real Red inks.  I cut out only the word, magical, out of the red one, there is a framelit for it.  I then adhered it over the top of the black one with Snail Adhesive.  This and the dragon were attached to the piece of black paper.  I made the banner with my scissors.  I popped the dragon up with Stampin Dimensionals.

For the inside of the card and the envelope I stamped the little knight on the bottom left hand corner.  I did not color him, but you could.

To make this project you will need the following products:

Tutti Frutti Cards & Envelopes #147242

  • I used the Lemon Lime Twist striped one

Basic Black Cardstock # 121045

  • cut at 2 1/2" x 5"

Whisper White Cardstock # 100730

  • cut at 2 1/2" x 2 1/2" for the dragon
  • cut at 2" x 6" for the sentiment

This was such a fun card to make for the boys.  I will definitely make more of them.

This morning I am going to be getting a crown on this special Valentine's Day!  Isn't Mr. Wonderful the best!  He is the best, but he isn't getting me the crown that goes on your head.  He is getting me the one that goes in my mouth.  Yuk!!!  I am really not looking forward to today.  I think I have put one of my dentist children through college for all the work I have had done over the years.  It could be a lot worse, so I am going to be thankful that we have great dental insurance and an awesome dentist.

Over the weekend I helped Beckett and Brielle make treats for their classmates for their Valentine's party.  They were so cute helping me make them.  Here are a couple of pictures, one of them with their treats and another of the treats.

Valentine Treats

Aren't they just the cutest angels you have seen!  I love them so much!  Here is a picture of Blysse when we had a day to ourselves last week because everyone else was sick.

Blysse loved having me all to herself.  We had a fun time in my craft room.  She was coloring and watching a princess movie.

Thank you for stopping into today!  I hope everyone has a blessed day filled with lot of love and chocolate!

CASEing Tuesday!!!  I have an easy peasy lemon squeezy card for you today!

I saw the Picture Perfect Party designer series paper and wasn't sure if I would like it or not.  Then I saw what others were making with it and I was crazy over it.  I immediately ordered and used it on this weeks CASEing Tuesday card.  It is so easy to make a card with this paper!  This card took me no more that 10 minutes to make, if that.  It is so easy, that I made 50 more of them!  Yes, you read that correct.  I am going to a retreat in February and this is going to be my swap card.

Here is the inspiration for this weeks card:

26993874_10214064183455584_713436980909283235_n

On this card I used the Peekaboo Peach cardstock, which I love, because it will be retiring in April.  I start now telling all of my customers that if you really want something in the annual catalog now is the time to get it.  Get the cardstock, designer series paper, ribbon, embellishments, ink and definitely refills for your ink pads.  Trust me, I learned the hard way about not getting the reinker at the same time when I bought the ink pad.  I won't do that again.  The colors that for sure will be retiring are the Dapper Denim, Emerald Envy, Flirty Flamingo, Peekaboo Peach and Sweet Sugarplum.  I am going to miss these colors.

To make this project you will need the following products:

Peekaboo Peach Cardstock:

  • cut at 5 1/2" x 8 1/2"

Bermuda Bay Cardstock #131197

  • cut at 2 1/4" x 3 1/4"

Whisper White Cardstock #100730

  • cut at 2 1/4" x 3 1/4
  • cut at 4" x 5 1/4"

Picture Perfect Party Designer Series Paper #145559

  • 4" x 5 1/4"

Stampin Up, Stampin' Up! Picture Perfect Birthday stamp set #145560, Picture Perfect DSP #145559, Layering Oval Framelits #141706, Stitched Shapes Framelits #145372, created by Stampin Scrapper, for more cards, gifts, ideas, scrapbooking and 3D projects go to stampinscrapper.com, Joyce Whitman

This card is very easy to assemble.  The first thing I did was to wrap the ribbon, Berry Burst Metallic Edge Ribbon, around the center of your designer series paper.  Adhere it to your card base with Snail adhesive.  Next, stamp your image onto your white paper and cut it out using the Stitched Shapes Framelits.  At the same time you can cut out the Bermuda Bay piece with the Layering Oval Framelits.

Adhere the white piece to the Bermuda Bay cardstock and use Stampin Dimensionals to adhere it to your card base.  I added 3 rhinestones to give it a little bit of bling.   That is it, you are done!  Wasn't that easy!

I went to a Leadership Conference in Michigan the first weekend in February and learned so much.  I have had my mind going crazy with ideas and trying to comprehend everything we learned.  It was so much fun!  I got to meet the number one demonstrator in the company, Robyn Cardon and the second demonstrator, Angie Juda.  They were so nice and graciously taught us how to be a great leader.  Ronda Wade, another fabulous demonstrator, put on the conference and did a fabulous job.

Here are some pictures from the weekend.

If you look at the bottom left picture, my very good friend, Cathy, is right next to me.  We keep saying we need to get a picture of the two of us together and never do it.  In April, that is the first thing we are going to do!

One thing that totally amazed me about this conference was how gracious everyone was.  We all helped out each other, got along, had fun, laughed, stamped, learned and just have a good time with each other.  I met some of the nicest people and know that I will be friends with them for a very long time.  I can't wait to see them again.

Thank you for stopping in today!  I hope you have a terrific day!

This is an easy card that takes no time at all to put together.  You will stamp the heart from the Heart Happiness stamp set and cut it out with a coordinating framelit from the Sweet and Sassy framelits.  I also cut out 2 hearts, the same size, in Melon Mambo.  For the background on the white paper, I used another stamp from the same set that has 6 little hearts on it.  I turned the stamp a little to the left so the hearts were at an angle.  The stamped heart is popped up using a Stampin Dimensional.

For the sentiment I used the Banners For You stamp set.  I made one of the as a Valentine's card and the other one as a thank you card.  You can use hearts for any occasion, it doesn't have to be just for Valentine's Day.  Of course, I had to add a little bit of bling with the Rhinestones.
