Every time there is a new catalog I participate in numerous swaps.  When I talk about swaps, what I mean is, a group of us get together (let's say there is 20 of us), and we each make 20 of the same card.  Once we are finished we exchange (swap) with each other.  So, we make 20 of the same card, but go home with 20 different cards.  It is so fun and I love to see all the different cards people have created.

I CASE'd (create and share everything) this card from one of the swaps I participated in.  The creator of this card is Sandy Carlson.  I changed the paper I used, we both used the same designer series paper, just different pieces from the pack, and the colors of the card base and the layer on top of that.  I just fell in love with Sandy's card the minute I saw it.  I knew I wanted to make it for one of my make and takes at my catalog launch party.

To make this card you will need the following paper.  For a complete list of all the products I used, please see the end of this post.

The sentiment is from the Snowflake Sentiments stamp set which is the annual catalog and the designer series paper, Joyous Noel,  is from the Holiday catalog.  I used Shaded Spruce ink which coordinates perfectly along with the Copper Foil paper and the Merry Merlot & Copper Reversible Ribbon.  I think that is the of the main reasons I love Stampin' Up!  Everything coordinates!  The designer series paper goes with the stamp set, all the colors are the same.  Whether it is cardstock, ribbon, embellishments, markers, watercolor pencils and Blends.  I never have to worry about if I have the right colors for any of my project.  I know I do!
