Welcome to CASEing Tuesday!!  Today's card combines products from the annual catalog and from the Sale-A-Bration catalog.  Do you know which one is from the Sale-A-Bration catalog?

I used the Tutti Frutti Card and Envelopes from the Sale-A-Bration catalog and the Birthday Blossoms stamp set, Delightful Daisy designer series paper and the Daisy punch from the annual catalog.

This is the card that I used for inspiration this week.

27072240_10212608465780985_1457734081172991360_n

To make this project you will need the following products:

Tutti Fruitti Cards and Envelopes #147242

  • I used the Calypso Coral one

So Saffron Cardstock #105118

  • cut at 2 3/4" x 6"

Pool Party Cardstock #122924

  • cut at 3/4" x 4"

Delightful Daisy Designer Series Paper #144137

  • cut at 3" x 3"

This is a real easy card that you can make a lot of at one time.  I used this card for my swap at my Joyful Butterflies team meeting this week.

I used the Calypso Coral design from the Tutti Frutti card pack.  The Delightful Daisy designer series paper was cut with the Layering Circle Framelits and I used the Daisy punch to make the flower.  The center of the flower is the biggest gem in the Clear Faceted Gems.

For the banner I used the Pool Party cardstock and embossed it with the white embossing powder.  The sentiment is from the Birthday Blossoms stamp set.  I used the Banner Triple punch to make my banner cut on it.

I used Stampin Dimensionals to adhere the circle, but used snail for the flower and banner.

CASEing Tuesday!!!  I have an easy peasy lemon squeezy card for you today!

I saw the Picture Perfect Party designer series paper and wasn't sure if I would like it or not.  Then I saw what others were making with it and I was crazy over it.  I immediately ordered and used it on this weeks CASEing Tuesday card.  It is so easy to make a card with this paper!  This card took me no more that 10 minutes to make, if that.  It is so easy, that I made 50 more of them!  Yes, you read that correct.  I am going to a retreat in February and this is going to be my swap card.

Here is the inspiration for this weeks card:

26993874_10214064183455584_713436980909283235_n

On this card I used the Peekaboo Peach cardstock, which I love, because it will be retiring in April.  I start now telling all of my customers that if you really want something in the annual catalog now is the time to get it.  Get the cardstock, designer series paper, ribbon, embellishments, ink and definitely refills for your ink pads.  Trust me, I learned the hard way about not getting the reinker at the same time when I bought the ink pad.  I won't do that again.  The colors that for sure will be retiring are the Dapper Denim, Emerald Envy, Flirty Flamingo, Peekaboo Peach and Sweet Sugarplum.  I am going to miss these colors.

To make this project you will need the following products:

Peekaboo Peach Cardstock:

  • cut at 5 1/2" x 8 1/2"

Bermuda Bay Cardstock #131197

  • cut at 2 1/4" x 3 1/4"

Whisper White Cardstock #100730

  • cut at 2 1/4" x 3 1/4
  • cut at 4" x 5 1/4"

Picture Perfect Party Designer Series Paper #145559

  • 4" x 5 1/4"

Stampin Up, Stampin' Up! Picture Perfect Birthday stamp set #145560, Picture Perfect DSP #145559, Layering Oval Framelits #141706, Stitched Shapes Framelits #145372, created by Stampin Scrapper, for more cards, gifts, ideas, scrapbooking and 3D projects go to stampinscrapper.com, Joyce Whitman

This card is very easy to assemble.  The first thing I did was to wrap the ribbon, Berry Burst Metallic Edge Ribbon, around the center of your designer series paper.  Adhere it to your card base with Snail adhesive.  Next, stamp your image onto your white paper and cut it out using the Stitched Shapes Framelits.  At the same time you can cut out the Bermuda Bay piece with the Layering Oval Framelits.

Adhere the white piece to the Bermuda Bay cardstock and use Stampin Dimensionals to adhere it to your card base.  I added 3 rhinestones to give it a little bit of bling.   That is it, you are done!  Wasn't that easy!

I went to a Leadership Conference in Michigan the first weekend in February and learned so much.  I have had my mind going crazy with ideas and trying to comprehend everything we learned.  It was so much fun!  I got to meet the number one demonstrator in the company, Robyn Cardon and the second demonstrator, Angie Juda.  They were so nice and graciously taught us how to be a great leader.  Ronda Wade, another fabulous demonstrator, put on the conference and did a fabulous job.

Here are some pictures from the weekend.

If you look at the bottom left picture, my very good friend, Cathy, is right next to me.  We keep saying we need to get a picture of the two of us together and never do it.  In April, that is the first thing we are going to do!

One thing that totally amazed me about this conference was how gracious everyone was.  We all helped out each other, got along, had fun, laughed, stamped, learned and just have a good time with each other.  I met some of the nicest people and know that I will be friends with them for a very long time.  I can't wait to see them again.

Thank you for stopping in today!  I hope you have a terrific day!

Waterfront Masculine Card (CT #133)

Stampin Up, Stampin' Up! Waterfront Stamp Set #146386, Occasions Catalog 2018, True Gentleman Designer Series Paper #145593, created by Stampin Scrapper, for more cards, gifts, ideas, scrapbooking and 3D projects go to stampinscrapper.com, Joyce Whitman

It is CASEing Tuesday!!! I had fun creating this card for this weeks post.  I have used the Waterfront stamp set from the occasions catalog and the Sweet Cupcake stamp set from the annual catalog.  Here is the picture of the card that we used for our inspiration for this weeks projects.

27072319_10212608460060842_3867039514148694102_n

To make this card you will need the following products:

Crumb Cake Cardstock #120953

  • cut at 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" score at 4 1/4"

Very Vanilla Cardstock#101650

  • cut at 1/2" x 2 1/4"
  • cut at 3 1/2" x 4 3/4"
  • cut at 4" x 5 1/4"

True Gentleman Designer Series Paper #145593

  • cut at 4" x 5 1/4"

To make the card I first started with stamping the mountains with Chocolate Chip ink.  I stamped the mountains on the sides full strength ink and the middle mountain stamping off first.  I then stamped the water with Dapper Denim ink.  I stamped the first image right under the mountains full strength and then kept stamping without reinking my stamp.  The trees are stamped with the Dapper Denim ink and again I did some full strength and some stamped off.

To color the sky, I first punched out a 1" circle and light adhered it to the Very Vanilla paper where I wanted the moon to be.  I used the Soft Sky ink all over the area above the mountains.  I then used Dapper Denim, being careful to leave a small area right above the mountains untouched.  The I lightly sponged on Tranquil Tide and finished it off with Night of Navy ink, again very light.  I took off the circle and used the piece of paper that I punched the circle out of to cover up the area around the sun.  I used the Daffodil Delight ink and covered the circle.

I love when a card comes out the way you have it pictured in your mind.

This is going to be a short post as I am fighting a bad cold and need to get to bed.  I had a great time over the weekend at the conference and will share more on Thursday.

I hope everyone has a wonderful day and thank you so much for stopping by today.

Thankful Thoughts (CT #132)

Stampin Up, Stampin' Up! Thankful Thoughts #141522, Bundle of Love Specialty designer series paper #144143, Bold Butterfly Framelits #138135, created by Stampin Scrapper, for more cards, gifts, ideas, scrapbooking and 3D projects go to stampinscrapper.com, Joyce Whitman

It was perfect timing with having to come up with a card for CASEing Tuesday and needing thank you notes for my online orders this month.   For this card I used the Very Vanilla Note Cards and Envelopes.  You get 20 cards and envelopes in the pack and they are perfect size for thank you notes.   Here is the picture of our inspiration this week.

26195627_10212422176683874_4014764795269655706_n

This time I followed the layout pretty close.  I decided to totally change the look of it, as I wanted to use a stamp set and designer series paper from the annual catalog.

To make this project you will need the following products:

Very Vanilla Note Cards and Envelopes #144236

Blushing Bride Cardstock #131198

  • cut at 2" x 4"

Soft Sky Cardstock #131203

  • scrap to cut out a 2 1/2" circle

Bundle of Love Specialty Designer Series Paper #144143

  • cut at 1 1/2" x 3 3/4"
  • scrap for a 2 1/4" circle

Gold Foil Paper #132622

  • cut at 1 1/2" x 2 1/4"

When you cut the Blushing Bride and Bundle of Love pieces for the banners you want to cut the width just a hair under the 2" and 1 1/2".  This way they will slide right in the Banner Triple Punch.

To cut out the butterfly I used the Bold Butterfly Framelits with the Gold Foil Paper.  I attached it with glue dots to the circle of designer series paper and bent up the wings so it looks like it is flying.

Have you used the note cards yet?  If not, I highly recommend them!

I am getting so excited!  On Thursday I am going to Michigan for a Leadership conference and I can't wait!  I am excited to see people I know and to meet new people.  I get to room with one of my best friends, Cathy and my new friend, Mary.  We are going to have so much fun!  I am praying for good weather and not a lot of snow.  There are people traveling from all over the country by car and plane.  If you think about it, can you say a little prayer that everyone arrives safe.  Thank you.

I can't wait to share the swaps I made for this weekend.  I think you are going to love the Party Panda card.  I have never made a card like this before.  Check back on Monday and Wednesday to see the two swaps I made.

Thank you for stopping by today!  I hope you have a terrific Tuesday!

Remember last week when I told you that I made the wrong card for CASEing Tuesday.  Well, this is the card that I created last week that was really for this weeks post.  At least I had it finished.  Here is the card that we used for our inspiration.

26814883_10214041850097264_8414288958505856640_n

To make this card you will need the following products:

Old Olive Cardstock #100702

Whisper White Cardstock #100730

  • scrap for 1 1/2" circle

I stamped the images in Garden Green ink and then colored them in Pear Pizzazz and Bermuda Bay markers.  I stamped the image in Bermuda Bay and then punched it out with the 1 1/2" circle punch.  I added the Bermuda Bay ribbon from the Shimmer Ribbon Pack in the Sale-A-Bration catalog.

You can earn the ribbon FREE if you order $50 in product before tax and shipping.  It is hard to see in the picture, but it shines and is so pretty.  I then added the Tutti Frutti sequins .

I stamped the flower on the left on the inside of the card and on the envelope.

A Little Wild (CT #130)

I thought I was doing so good over the weekend.  I finished things for my team meeting on Wednesday night, finished my projects and everything else for my 3D class on Friday and worked on things for my open house, which is on Saturday.  Last night I went to write my blog for CASEing Tuesday today and realized I made the wrong card.  I made the one for next week!  At least I have next week's card done.

Here is the picture we used for inspiration this week.

26166825_10212422173843803_5702939114840474404_n

This is a card that I quickly made last night for the correct CASing Tuesday!  Needless to say, this is going to be a short post.

To make this card you will need the following products:

Tutti Frutti Cards & Envelopes #147242

  • I used the Daffodil Delight one - these are from Sale-A-Bration

Soft Sky Cardstock #131203

  • scrap for 1 3/8" circle

Whisper White Cardstock #100730

  • cut at 3 1/4" x 3 3/4"
  • cut at 2" x 6"
  • scrap for the 1 1/4" circle

Bundle of Love Specialty Designer Series Paper #144143

  • 3 1/2" x 4"

Did you notice the Tutti Frutti Card base?  You can get these for FREE!!!  How, you ask?  For every $50 you order in product, before tax and shipping, you get a FREE product from the Sale-A-Bration catalog.  This great sale is going on from now until March 31, 2018.

I used the grass stamp from the Sheltering Tree stamp set and the Pear Pizzazz ink on the bottom section of the white paper.  I stamped it a little higher in the middle, like a little hill, for the elephant.  Otherwise, he looked like he was flying in the air.  LOL  I also used the Memento Ink to stamp the cute little animals because I knew I wanted to color them with the Blends markers.  The Blends are alcohol based, so you have to use the Memento ink with them.  The more I use the markers, the more I love them!

I wanted to soften the white paper on the top section, so I took Soft Sky ink and lightly sponged the white area.  I then went around the edges of the paper, except where I stamped the grass.

Here are the colors I used for each animal:

1.  Lion - Crumb Cake - light and dark and Bronze

2.  Elephant - Smoky Slate - light and dark

3.  Bear - Crumb Cake - light and dark

I have the animals and the sentiment popped up with Stampin' Dimensionals.

Waterfront Card (CT #129)

Stampin Up, Stampin' Up! Waterfront stamp set #146386, Tutti-Frutti Cards & Envelopes #147242 SaleABration, CASEing Tuesday #129, created by Stampin Scrapper, for more cards, gifts, ideas, scrapbooking and 3D projects go to stampinscrapper.com, Joyce Whitman

Today is CASE-ing Tuesday!  Below is the picture that we used as our inspiration this week.  On the above card I used the stamp set Waterfront from the Occasions catalog.  Did you notice the top piece of paper on the card?  It is from the Tutti-Frutti Cards and Envelopes in the Sale-A-Bration catalog.  You get 16 preprinted card bases and envelopes.  You can add additional paper to the front, like I did on the bottom, or you can stamp right on to the card base.  I really like the designs on each of the different colors.  The are in Calypso Coral, Daffodil Delight, Lemon Lime Twist and Pool Party (I used this one).

You can get the card bases and envelopes for FREE when you purchase $50 in product, before shipping and handling.

Stampin Up, Stampin' Up! Party Pandas #147221, 2018 Sale-A-Bration, created by Stampin Scrapper, for more cards, gifts, ideas, scrapbooking and 3D projects go to stampinscrapper.com, Joyce Whitman

To create this project you will need the following products:

Tutti Frutti Cards and Envelopes #147242  Sale-A-Bration

  • I used the pool party card base

Dapper Denim Cardstock #141414

  • cut at 2 1/2" x 4 1/4"

Whisper White Cardstock #100730

  • cut at 2" x 4 3/4

These card bases are awesome!  I wrapped the Crumb Cake ribbon around the Dapper Denim piece and adhered it to the card base.   I added dimensionals to the Whisper White piece of paper, so that it popped off the card.  I adhered the white paper towards the left hand side of the card.  There is about 1/2" space from the edge of the card to where I put it.  I then tied my other piece of crumb cake ribbon in a knot and trimmed the edges.

This is a fast and easy card that you can change to fit any occasion, with using a different stamp set and sentiment.

Snowflake Sentiments and Thankful Thoughts (CT #127)

Today is CASE-ing Tuesday!  I needed thank you notes for the gifts that I got for Christmas, so this was a perfect time to make mine with the Thankful Thoughts stamp set.  As I was looking outside at the beautiful snow, I got the idea to use snowflakes on my card.  For the snowflakes I used the Snowflake Sentiments from the holiday catalog.  I love the font in this set along with the snowflakes.  I am really excited it will be carried over.  That means that you will be able to order it until the end of May!!!  Yay!

Here is the picture that was our inspiration this week.

24174366_10212144588584345_2843954249599842654_n

How was your Christmas?  Ours was wonderful!  We had both of our girls home and we had a snow!  We didn't get a lot, but enough to cover the ground.  I couldn't have asked for anything more.

However, our Christmas Eve was very stressful.  Erica had to drive home from Traverse City, MI, which in good driving conditions, is 7 1/2-8 hours away.  She got out of work at 3:30pm and then headed out.  I was a nervous wreck all day long as there were snow advisories out all day for the whole area she was traveling.  I get a phone call around 8:00pm that she had hit black ice and was in the ditch.  A mother's worst nightmare!  I got her calmed down, she called a tow truck and was waiting for it to arrive.

As soon as I got off the phone with her, I got on Facebook and starting asking this wonderful group I am in, Creating for Christ, to start praying for her.  Emily contacted her friends in Texas and I sent out text messages to my family.  We had people all of the country praying for her and her safety.  God answers prayers!!!  A tow truck showed up about 10 minutes later, he was driving by and saw her.  He told her she would have waited 3 hours for the other tow truck to get there.  Thank goodness God answered our prayers!  He pulled her out and she was on her way again.  It cost her a fortune, but she was back on the road.  In the meantime, the roads had iced up and had more snow on them.

Erica finally got home safely a little after 1:00am.  I am not sure who cried more, her or me.  I was never so happy to have her in my arms.  To me she was the little, or I should say big, baby I brought home from the hospital.  She was 10 pounds at birth.  We had her for a very short time, she had to go back today as she has to work tomorrow.  I already miss her!

Needless, to say I really didn't think about what I needed to do for my blog until later this afternoon and realized I forgot to write this post.  So, here it is, just a little late.

Thank you for stopping by today.

Stampin Up, Stampin' Up! Tranquil Tulips stamp set #143767, Banners For You stamp set #141710, Lots of Labels Framelits #138281, created by Stampin Scrapper, CASE-ing Tuesday #126, for more cards, gifts, ideas, scrapbooking and 3D projects, go to stampinscrapper.com, Joyce Whitman

I haven't used this stamp in a very long time, so I was happy when it was one of the CASE-ing Tuesday projects.  I combined products from the annual catalog and the holiday catalog to create this card.  Here is a picture of the card we had to use as our inspiration.

I really the original card and the one I created.  I am really enjoying the challenges that I have been in lately.  They are so fun and really get your creative juices flowing.

On my card I did opposite of the original card.  Instead of having my flowers popped up on a piece of white paper that is also popped up, I had my background popped up and my flowers.

To make this project you will need to following products:

Whisper White Thick Cardstock #140272

  • cut at 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" score at 4 1/4"

Whisper White Cardstock #100730

  • scraps to stamp flowers on and cut out

Year of Cheer Designer Series Paper #144640

  • cut at 4 1/4" x 5 1/2"

The first thing I did was cut out the Year of Cheer designer series paper with the biggest framelit in the Lots of Labels framelits.  I then laid that on top of the front of my card and made little marks with a pencil on each side and top and bottom of the opening.  Then I knew I had to keep my stamping within that area.

The flowers are a two step stamp, which means you will stamp the flower with two different stamps to get the finished look.  I used Bermuda Bay ink for my flowers on this card.  When you do your first step, the solid image stamp, you are going to put ink on your stamp and then stamp on a piece of scrap paper.  You will then stamp your paper without reinking your stamp.  This is called stamping off.  The second stamp you will ink and stamp right onto your solid image that you just stamped.

For the banner I used the Thank You from the Banners For You stamp set and embossed it with the gold embossing powder.  I then used the Bunch of Banners Framelits to cut it out.  I have also popped the banner.

I think I am going to have to bring this stamp out more often.  It is such a pretty stamp set.

Thank you for stopping by today.  I hope you have a terrific Tuesday!

Stampin Up, Stampin' Up! Cool Treats stamp set #142982, created by Stampin Scrapper, for more cards, gifts, ideas, scrapbooking and 3D projects go to stampinscrapper.com, Joyce Whitman

It's time for CASE-ing Tuesday!  This week we were asked to CASE the picture below, which can be found in the 2017 Holiday catalog on page 48.  I went for a total different look and used a stamp set that I haven't used in a very long time, Cool Treats.   Why, I am not sure because I love it.  Lately, I have been trying to go back and use products from the annual catalog.  We have a lot of great stamps in there and I don't want to forget them.

Aren't the colors so bright and cheery?  I thought it was perfect since it is cold and overcast outside.  The colors remind me of summer, when it is a lot warmer.   Here is what the inside of the card looks like.

To make this card you are going to need the following products:

Berry Burst Cardstock #144243

  • cut at 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" score at 4 1/4"

Peekaboo Peach Cardstock #141417

  • cut at 5 3/8" x 4 1/8"
  • cut at 1 5/8" x 3 1/8"

Whisper White Cardstock #100730

  • cut 2" at 4 x 5 1/4"
  • cut 1 1/2" x 3"

I stamped an ice cream cone on the envelope, in opposite colors of the one on the inside of the card.  I popped up the sentiment with Stampin Dimensionals to give it height.

I apologize for this post going out late today.  I was having trouble starting last night with logging in and the same this morning.   I finally was able to log in and finish this up.  I am going to keep this short so I can get this posted for all of you to see.  Thank  you for being understanding.

I hope everyone has a great day!
