April Paper Pumpkin Video is here!!!

Click on the video above to watch Sara demonstrate her kit she designed.

Sara's kit is "bold, vibrant and artistic with a little bit of sass".  I am so in love with it!  Wait until you see how Sara shows us stepby step on how to do the color resist technique with watercolor pencils.  There is something else new this month, FULL COLOR INSTRUCTIONS!!! Don't forget there is a FREE gift inside too.   You are going to love it!  I know I do.

I will be having a class on April 26th at 6:30pm to put our kits together and make some alternative cards.  This class is FREE if you order your Paper Pumpkin through me.  Anyone is welcome to join us for this fun night of crafting.  There will be a fee of $12.

Not a subscriber to Paper Pumpkin, but would like to.  Click on one of the pictures below for a month, 3 month, 6 month and 12 month subscription.  I know with summer coming up you are going to be busy and your just not sure if you will have to put your kit together. Not a problem, you have the option to skip a month or two when needed.  I have used this option and it is wonderful.

Need a gift for someone and not sure what to give them.  This is a perfect gift!  A party in a box, once a month, delivered to their house. Who wouldn't love that?!

Over the weekend, I have been busy working on changing out retired products with new products.  I have also changed the order in which I have my paper and inks.  Anyone who knows me knows I do everything alphabetical.  Well, I am stepping out of my comfort zone big time.

In the new catalog, Stampin' Up! has a list of all the colors grouped together by color.  This made the change so easy.  Here are a couple of pictures of my paper storage and inks.

I am still trying to get use to them being in this order, but I am really starting to like it.  I ordered some sign clips to put on my racks so I can label each color.  As you can tell, I like to label things.  My label maker and I are very close.  My family told me that if I started labeling the kitchen cabinets I was in trouble.  Who me, I would never do that. LOL

Thank you for stopping by today.  Have a terrific Tuesday!

Happy Easter!!!

Happy Easter!!!

I hope everyone has a wonderful day.

We are going to have an Easter Egg Hunt with the grandrandall's this afternoon.  I think we are going to have to have it indoors, since it is suppose to rain a lot this afternoon.  Are you going to be spending the day with family?

Check back this week for some new cards, created with new products from the 2017-2018 Annual Catalog.

My Easter Card and pictures from OnStage

stampin up, StaminUp !EasterMessage stamp set #142987, Falling In Love DSP #142788, 3/8 Metallic Ribbon Combo Pack, created by Stampin Scrapper, for more cards, gifts, ideas, scrapbooking and 3D projects go to stampinscrapper.com, Joyce Whitman

I made this card for my open house that I had in January and have been waiting to share it with you.  I fell in love with the card in occasions catalog for this stamp set.  I changed it a little to go with the products I had on hand and it show the ribbon that was in our Sale-A-Bration brochure.  If you don't have this ribbon you could use any ribbon you have on hand.

To make this card, you will need the following products:

Blushing Bride Cardstock #131198

  • cut at 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" score at 4 1/4"
  • cut at 2 7/8" x 4 5/8"

Very Vanilla Cardstock #101650

  • cut at 4" x 5 1/4"
  • cut at 2 3/4" x 4 1/2"

Fallin In Love Designer Series Paper #142788

  • cut at 4" x 5 1/4"

I stamped the image from the Easter message stamp set and then used our Watercolor Pencils and Blender Pens.  I used the Early Espresso for the cross and the Basic Gray for the cloth.  This added just a hint of color to make a subtle impact.

I used dimensionals under the small Blushing Bride cardstock to give the card dimension.  I also added a piece of very vanilla cardstock to the inside of the card.

Below are some close up pictures of my projects that I had created for my display at OnStage.  I have to say my favorite is the scrapbook page of our farm.  I brought back a lot of memories.  I hope you enjoy your sneak peek of some of the new products.

In the above picture I was given the punch for the lemon/limes.  Did you notice the paper on both the top and bottom pictures on the right hand side.  You are going to love that paper stack.  So many possibilities.  How cute is the tab punch on the gift card holder?  In the bottom collage you will see how I used it to make a background.

I just realized I put a picture in here twice.  I must really like that project.  LOL  You will notice the paper again, can you see I loved it. The crate I made myself, but there is a die in the new catalog that you will be able to make it much easier.

The top right one is the background made with the tab punch.  I have to give my daughter Emily credit for that idea.  You might now notice in the pictures, but glossy white paper is back!!!!!  You know what else is in the new catalog that is returning?  The self adhesive sheets! They are going to be wonderful for all our small delicate dies.  On the bottom right corner picture you can see one of the new ribbons, washi tape and embellishments.  The bottom left picture is made using the new glossy white paper.

I am really excited about the glossy white paper.  It retired shortly after I started selling Stampin' Up!, so I didn't really get a chance to play with it.  I am sure there are a lot of really neat techniques out there for me to learn and share with you.

My first box arrived yesterday of the Eastern Suite and my other boxes arrive today from my preorder.  Oh, my goodness!  I think I have died and gone to heaven.  What should I create with first?

Last night we had the grandrandall's for a sleepover.  They were so good, I couldn't have asked for them to behave any better. They had a lot of fun helping me clean up my craftroom for class tonight. Beckett said to me that he thought I should get rid of some of my stuff because I could never use all of it.  Uh, NO!

You are probably wondering who are the grandrandall's.  Five years ago I met Todd and Kumiko when they came to talk to me about taking care of their first baby.  There was an instant connection between all of us.  You know how you meet someone and right away you know they are going to be a part of your lives for a long time, if not, forever.  Over the years, Todd has come to our church, accepted Christ and got baptized.  I was so honored and humbled when he did his video and talked about what an influence our family has had on him with his walk with Christ.  We have all adopted each other as a part of our family.  My girls call Todd their brother and Kumiko their sister and they do the same.  It warms my heart so much.

Some people at church thought Todd was our son.  I physically could have had Todd, but I would have been 14 years old.  We sometimes, say yes he is.  It is easier that way at times.  In our hearts they are our children and their children are our grandchildren.  We love all of them so much and we are so blessed to have them in our lives.

Have a terrific Thursday and thank you for stopping in today.

I will be showing you all each product individually throughout the next month or so.

I had such a great time at OnStage.  I am not sure why I haven't gone before, but I know I will be going again.  Here are some pictures from my fun filled weekend.

On Friday while sitting up my display I got to meet Connie Stewart, one of my favorite demonstrators.  She is such a sweetheart!  I got to talk with her for about 20 minutes, which was the best part of my day. On Saturday I was able to get a picture with her.  I am not crazy about the look on my face, but I only got one picture with her, so I will take it.

The 3 MUSKETEERS!!!! Carla, Kim and I hung out together all weekend.  I haven't laughed that hard in a long time.  We had been talking with each other on Facebook and text for a while, so it was nice to finally meet in person.  I can say, I have found 2 very good friends over the week.  They are the best!

Wouldn't you love to have this much fun? Get to see the catalog before others? Learn new things? You can!  Join my team and we can go to the next event in November in Salt Lake City, Utah!

Have a great day and thank you for stopping by!

Open House was a huge success

Yesterday I had my open house for the Sale-A-Bration and Occasions catalog.  It was so much fun and a huge success!!!  I had my friend Theresa sign up to be a demonstrator with me as her upline!  I am so excited to have her on my team, the Joyful Butterflies.

I didn't get any pictures when everyone was here, because I totally forgot and really didn't have the time.  I was so blessed to have a lot of people attend and drool over the new products.   It was wonderful to see all my wonderful friends who are also my customers.  I have the best people in my life.  They have been so supportive of me and my journey with Stampin' Up!

Here are more pictures of my craft studio and displays.  In this picture I am standing at the bottom of the stairs looking to my left.

This is my corner where I do all of my stamping, computer work and store most of my supplies.

This is a picture of the items on the same wall as my big shot, paper, inks and punches.

I am standing behind my desk looking out into the craft area.

Here are pictures of my displays.

Mr. Wonderful was so kind and helped make the delicious food for today.

I made thank you gifts for everyone who attended my open house.  There was candy and a stamp inside each of the jars.

I can't thank everyone enough that took time out of their day to come and support me in my Stampin' Up! business.  All of you are the best! I am so blessed to have each of you in my life.  All of my love to each and everyone of you.

Thank you for stopping by today.  I hope everyone has a blessed week!

Happy Anniversary to me!!!  One year ago today I posted my first blog post.  I can't believe it has already been a year.  I have had so much fun making projects, sharing them with you and reading your comments.  I love hearing from all of you!

To celebrate my anniversary and to say thank you for all your support over the last year I am having a blog candy!  Just comment below for your chance to win this stamp set, rhinestones and Wisteria Wonder ribbon.  For some reason the ribbon is showing up real dark.  The color of Wisteria Wonder is a light purple.

Make sure you comment before the end of Wednesday, January 11th to be entered in the drawing.  Don't forget to put your email address so I can let you know that you have won.

You will want to put your email address where it shows on the picture below so it isn't seen by everyone.  Don't worry, I will be the only one who sees your email address if you put it on the line below your name.

Thank you for stopping by today!  I am so appreciative of all of you and your support.  It means more to me than I can ever say.  Thank you, thank you, thank you from the bottom of my heart.  I love all of you!

Happy Stampin
