I always tell my customers if there is a card you would like to make, please let me know. I enjoy seeing what their style is and making it part of one of our classes. Sometimes it is a card that I wouldn't typically make, but I love it anyway. What a great way to learn new styles, techniques and ideas. One of my customers and my best friend, Robin, sent the above card to me. She had seen it on Pinterest and fell in love with it. The person who originally created this card did not put their name on it, so I don't know who to give credit to. Thank you whoever you are and for sharing such an adorable card with us. It had a coffee cup on the front, so of course, I fell in love with it! The best part is, it is a cute card and easy to make.
To make this card you will need the following products:
Soft Sky Cardstock #131203
- cut at 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" score at 4 1/4"
- cut at 1" x 1 1/2"
Early Espresso Cardstock #119686

Crumb Cake Cardstock #120953

- scraps for the lid and beans
Coffee Break Designers Series Paper #144155

- cut at 2 1/4" x 5"
I used the coordinating Coffee Cup framelits that matched this stamp set to cut out everything. It even has a die to make the band that goes around the cup with the lines in it. It makes life so much easier when things coordinate. I stamped the coffee beans on the inside of the card and on the envelope.
The ribbon is the 3/8" Classic Weave Ribbon in Soft Sky and I used 10 inches.
Stampin' Up! has some exciting news coming up in October that you are not going to want to miss! I will have all the details for you on Monday, October 2nd along with my first project from the SplitcoastStampers Creative Crew projects for October. I have been having a lot of fun working on my projects, even though they have been a little bit of a struggle for me. I have been going out of my comfort zone on some of these projects, which is good.
Have a great Wednesday and thank you for stopping by today!
