Do you ever have those weekends when you have a list of what you want to get done and it just doesn't happen? That was my weekend. I had such grand plans, but somehow that list didn't get many things crossed off. We did have fun this weekend at our daughter's, Erica, parent weekend at college. We went to the book store on Saturday afternoon, and of course, we had to buy spirit wear. We all got new sweatshirts and I love mine! We also went to a basketball game on Saturday night, which was a lot of fun! The best part is Wright State University won the game! It was also senior night and they revealed who the mascot, Rowdy, was. It turned out it was a young man that Erica went to high school with! He did such a wonderful job.
I got the idea for this card from Pinterest. I saw one a lot like this, I just changed it up a little bit and changed the colors. I loved the design of it, so crisp and clean. We will be making this card in my Baby/Wedding/Anniversary Class on Wednesday night. This is a fun card that you can use any color with. Oh, the possibilities!
This is the inside of the card. If you are like me, you like to decorate your envelopes. This stamp would be really cute on your envelope.
The base of the card is made with Pacific Point cardstock cut at 5 1/5" x 8 1/2" scored at 4 1/4". The other measurements are:
Pacific Point:
1 - 4 x 5 1/4"
2 - 1 1/8" x 5 1/4"
2 1/2" circle
Whisper White:
1 -3 5/8" x 5 1/8"
2 - 1" X 5 1/4"
a piece of scrap paper to stamp the flower image and cut it out with one of the circle framelits.
