2016-2018 In Color Note Cards

I am so in LOVE with the new In Colors for 2016-2018!!!!  What is there not to love about Dapper Denim, Emerald Envy, Flirty Flamingo, Peekaboo Peach and Sweet Sugarplum!  I wonder who comes up with the names of the inks.  I think they had a lot of fun naming this group.  You also have to say Sweeeeetttttt Sugarplum in a southern accent!  It is so much fun!

I made these note cards, using the note card and envelopes from Stampin' Up!,  for my Open House to display all the new colors. Using my Big Shot with the Precision Plate I used the Flourish Thinlits to cut out the flowers.  One tool I used that I can't live without now is the Big Shot Brush.  It gets out all the little pieces of paper from the thinlits.

To make these cards you will need the following measurements of paper.

Note Card and Envelopes #131527

Any In Color

  • cut at 3 1/4" x 4 3/4"
  • cut at 3 3/4" x 4 1/2" to cut the flower out

Whisper White Card Stock #100730

  • cut at 3" x 4 1/2"

Which one is your favorite color?  I love them all! Do you?

Thank you for stopping by today!  I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend!

Just curious about what adhesive you use to attach the flourish.

Hi Marty,

I used the fine tip glue pen and laid it on my silicone craft sheet to put the glue on. If you happen to get a little bit of glue on the mat it doesn't matter, because it won't stick. I use that craft sheet all the time. I love it!

These are gorgeous!! Sad to report tho, when I prepped and cut the colored cardstock panel at the above 'recipe' instruction at 3 3/4" x 4 3/4"; they were to wide. : ( Had to re-cut all of them - you may want to edit your measurements to 3 1/4" x 4 3/4" for that panel.

They turned out beautifully tho! Thanks for sharing.

Hi Sheryl! Thank you so much for letting me know I had the wrong measurements. I have gone in and fixed it. I hope you didn't have to recut too many of them. I am glad you liked them and they turned out beautiful for you.

Have a fabulous day!
