When I saw these little pouches made by Deseree Krumm, another talented demonstrator, I immediately asked her if I could make them for my Fall Friday. These are very easy to make and you can make them any size you would like.
You are not going to believe what you need to make these! You need one sheet of paper measuring 6" x 6" inches. You are going to want to make sure that you are careful to get your cuts straight. It is easier if you use Designer Series Paper than card stock since it is thinner and easier to fold.
It is easier for me to show you pictures on how to fold it than trying to explain it. So here we go!
You will start with a piece of paper measuring 6" x 6". You will want to put the side that you want showing on the bottom.
Take one corner and fold it over to the opposite corner and form a triangle. You are going to want to make sure that your sides are as even as possible. If they are not, this is where you are going to want to trim them.
Take the lower right hand corner and bring it over to the left hand side of the triangle. You want to make sure that the top of the fold is parallel to the bottom fold.
Do the other side the same way. You are almost done, only one more fold.
Turn down the flap and you are finished! Did you realized we did not use any adhesives? Just one sheet of paper, a couple of folds and you have a little pouch! You can then decorate them any way you want to. I used the Cookie Cutter Halloween stamp set from the Holiday Catalog.
Wouldn't these make great gifts to give your coworkers, your childs classmates, friends and family? I will be making a bunch of these for friends and family members.
Tomorrow I am having my first Scrap Along and I am so excited! I have one more layout to create, so I better get stamping! Have a wonderful Friday and weekend!
Happy Stampin!
Joyce
