I have a bin in my craft room where I keep my extra cards so I always have one available if I need one in a hurry. I like to keep cards like this one around for when I need to send someone a little note, whether it be a thank you, thinking of you, I am here for you or just hello. You can really use it for any need you may have.
To make this card I used the Flourishing Phrases stamp set with matching framelits. I love how SU has everything coordinate, the paper, ink, ribbon, markers, stamp set, framelits/thinlits, designer series paper just to name a few things. It takes all of the guessing work out of having to figure out if you have the right shade of something to make your project.
To make this card you will need the following:
So Saffron Card Stock #105118
- cut at 5 1/2" x 8 1/2"
- scrap for flower
Wisteria Wonder Card Stock #122922
- cut at 7/8" x 4"
- scrap for the flower
Whisper White Card Stock #100730
- cut 2 at 4" x 5 1/4"
- cut at 3/4" x 2 1/2"
scraps of paper of the following for flowers:
- Peekaboo Peach Card Stock #141417
- Sweet Sugarplum Card Stock #141418
I used Wild Wasabi ink to make the leaves and Wisteria Wonder for the sentiment. I left the inside of the card blank so you could use it for any occasion.
I used Thick White Baker's Twine for the bow and added Rhinestones to the flowers for a little bling. To adhere the flowers I jus put a little bit of either liquid glue or the fine tip glue pen in the center of the flower. When you put your rhinestone on it, it will hide the glue if any gets on the card.
Update: I couldn't remember where I saw this card and I just found out it was from another wonderfully talented demonstrator Jamie Babarczy. This is one of the many things that I love about being a SU demonstrator, everyone is so willing to share their talents with each other.
I am excited for today as our small group is starting back up at church after we took the summer off. I feel like I haven't seen a lot of them for a long time. It will be a great time to catch up with everyone.
Have a blessed Sunday!
Happy Stampin!
