Does this look familiar? I made a shadow box in August for the first time. I love them because you can make them any size you want and decorate them any way you would like. This time I went with the Halloween theme.
To see the one from August and see the directions on how to make it click Here.
For this shadow box above I used the Spooky Fun, Jar of Haunts and Cookie Cutter Halloween stamp sets and the Halloween Scenes Edgelits Dies. What is really nice is you can get the Spooky Fun Stamp Set and the Halloween Scenes Edgelits Dies as a bundle and save 10%!!! I love the bundles!
I used the Halloween Night Specialty Designer Series Paper to make the shadow box and black card stock for the back ground. If you notice my spider web and ghost are bright white so you can see them better. To get them that way I first stamped them with the Craft Stampin' Ink in Whisper White. Then I took a white gel pen (retired from SU) and went over the images. That made them really stand out. If you would like a more muted look, just skip that step.
Speaking of the White Craft Ink, I can not find where I read it, but Stampin' Up! was rated as having the best Craft White Ink!!! Yay!!!
Have a fabulous weekend!
Happy Stampin!
