I was honored when our pastor asked me if I would be in charge of a luncheon we were having at the church and, of course, I said yes! My first thought was what could I use in my Stampin' Up! products for this event. Our pastor wanted the table numbers, a candle, flowers and anything else I wanted to do for the centerpieces. I had about 3 months to get everything together, so I was on the look out when I would go into stores for things.
The first thing I purchased was the the flowers that I found on clearance at Michaels and everything else was designed around it. The candles are vanilla scented battery powered with burlap ribbon wrapped around them.
In the envelope is a magnet that each family gets to take home with them. Well, you can't just hand them a magnet when I could make a pretty envelope for it. The little house was a lot of fun to make. I stamped the strips using Mint Macaron and Calypso Coral. I found the charger at Hobby Lobby and can you believe it is plastic!!! It definitely doesn't look like it or feel like it. The only way you know is when you pick it up. I love it!
