Today is World Card Making Day!!! How fun it that?! All around the world today, people are busy creating/making cards and enjoying time with their friends. I will be working on designing my cards for Christmas Class next week and having my first Scrap Along today. I am so excited!
Here is a card that is a whole lot of fun to make and play with! The little bee goes around the circle and twirls around. I think the ladies had more fun in my class than my daycare kids did when I showed it to them.
Dawn Griffith, another wonderful demonstrator, created this fun card and was so kind to share it with everyone. She has a fantastic video on how to make this card, just click HERE. This is one card that is easier to show you how to make it, than for me to try and explain it to you.
Here are the materials I used to make this card:
Basic Black Card Stock #121045
- cut at 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" score at 4 1/4"
Daffodil Delight Card Stock #119683
- cut at 5" x 5 1/4"
Whisper White Card Stock #100730
- cut at 4" x 5 1/4" (inside)
- cut at 3 3/4" x 5" (outside)
- scraps for the bees, hive and sentiment
2 pennies
I added Wink of Stella to the wings of the butterflies so they shinned a little. For the inside of my card I stamped the big butterfly and 3 little ones.
One tip I have for you is if your bee does not twirl fast, you need to cut your dimensional smaller and then it will work.
Enjoy World Card Making Day and this fun card!
Have a wonderful weekend and thank you for stopping by!
Happy Stampin!
