When I heard that Stampin' Up! was bringing back the Glossy White Paper I was so happy. I found out the great news when I opened my box for being an OnStage Display Stamper. I also got the Heartland stamp set, which used on this card. I used the brayer to put the ink on it to give it a blended look.
To make this card you will need the following products:
Early Espresso Cardstock #119686
- cut at 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" score at 4 1/4"
Whisper White Cardstock #100730
- cut at 4" x 5 1/4"
Glossy White Cardstock #144240
- cut at 4" x 5 1/4"
The first thing I did was punch out a 1 1/4" circle out of a piece of scrap paper and put a little bit of snail on the back of it. Keep the piece of paper you punch your circle out of. We are going to use it a little bit later. I then tapped the adhesive on the back of the circle with my finger to get some of the stickiness off the adhesive. Then I put it where I wanted the sun to be on the glossy paper.
I used our Sponge Brayers to put the color on the paper. I started with the Soft Sky ink on the top to about the middle of the paper. You can just roll over the 1 1/4" circle you adhered previously. I then added the Pear Pizzazz ink and I went down to about an inch from the bottom. I finished it out with the Chocolate Chip ink on the bottom. Remember you can always add ink to your projects, but you can't take it away. Start out light and then gradually add more ink to you get the color you want.
Remove the circle and place the scrap piece of paper you have from cutting out the circle. Take a Sponge Dauber and use the Daffodil Delight ink and fill in the sun. I stamped the barn and the sentiment with our Basic Black Archival Ink.
This week we are in Texas helping Emily move into her new apartment and enjoying the Houston area.. I am so excited to see her again. It will be very hard to say goodbye after seeing her for 3 weeks. Emily was home for two weeks in June and then went back to Texas last Monday and now we are visiting her in Texas. I sure miss having her around. Our house is going to be so quiet when we get back.
Thank you for visiting my blog today and I hope you have a great day!

Thank you Susan! Sorry for the delay in answering you. We got back from Texas late Saturday night and I haven't had a chance to check my blog comments until tonight. Thank you for your comments about my card. It reminds me of the farm where I grew up.
We had a great time in Texas. I miss Emily already. Thank goodness for texting, FaceTime and being able to call her. It all helps.
