Do you remember me telling you I was asked to be on the SplitcoastStampers Creative Crew? This was my first month to participate and our theme was fall. I was so excited when I heard our theme. Fall is one of my favorite times of the year.
We had to create a card and then do a stepped up card by adding embellishments, layers or whatever you wanted to make it better. The card on the left is my original card and to step it up I added our new Jute Twine and Wink of Stella on the flower on the card on the right.
To make this card you will need the following products:
Early Espresso Cardstock #119686
- cut at 4 1/4" x 11" score at 5 1/2"
Very Vanilla Cardstock #101650
- cut 2 at 4" x 5 1/4"
Did you notice the Burlap Background stamp? I just got this and I am in love with it. For this card I used the Crumb Cake ink. I think you will be seeing this stamp a lot this fall. I stamped the flower on Very Vanilla cardstock with Daffodil Delight ink first, then Crushed Curry. The center was stamped with Early Espresso ink and then fussy cut the flower. The leaves were stamped with Pear Pizzazz and Garden Green ink and punched out with the new Leaf Punch.
To create this flower there is 3 different stamps and sometimes they are kinda hard to line up. Below is a quick video on how to line up your stamps so your flower is perfect every time.
I will be posting the other 4 projects in my next 4 post. On Wednesday I will be showing you my inspiration piece, Friday my second Fall Friday project and on next Monday I will be showing you my technique card.
Thank you for stopping by today and have a Happy Labor Day!
