Welcome to the the Stamp 'N Hop Blog Hop today! You might have just come from Cheryl Taylor's blog. Wasn't here project beautiful! This month we are creating projects with products from the new 2018-2019 annual catalog. When I saw the Share What You Love Suite I feel in love immediately. The designer series paper has a pearlized finish on some of the pages along with the doilies. There is beautiful ribbon, an embellishment kit, pearls and embossing folder to complete the suite. They are all gorgeous! You know what the best part is? You can purchase these products now too!
For my project this month I have created a notebook cover. One of my friends gave me one as a roommate gift when I went to the Stampin' Up! OnStage event last month and fell in love with it. I have created so many of these since, that I just can't stop! On the front I used some of the items that in the Share What You Love Suite. I used the big watercolor stamp with Mint Macaron ink, first I stamped it off on a piece of scrap paper, on a piece of Whisper White cardstock. I then stamped the sentiment with Mossy Meadow ink and the flowers with Blackberry Bliss ink. To cut out the stamped images and the Blackberry Bliss layer behind it, I used the Layering Square Framelits.
I added a Pearlized Doily, which I cut in half, behind the Blackberry Bliss square. The flowers on the bottom of the square were cut out from the same designer series paper that I used to decorate the front. The two other flowers on the top are from another piece of paper in the Share What You Love Specialty Designer Series Paper.
To finish off the project, I used the Artisan Pearls that are in this suite. I used the light and dark pink pearls in the center of the flowers.
On the inside of this notebook there is a pocket for you to put in receipts or papers that you need to keep. I used the 1 3/4" Circle Punch to create the half circle cutout in the Mossy Meadow piece.
My friends and customers are loving getting these notebooks from me. For my Hostess Appreciation Event last month I made each of them one with their initial on it. I used some of the other papers that are in the Share What You Love Specialty designer series pack.
When I made the notebook covers in the pictures above, I tried to coordinate the paper with the style and favorite colors of all the attendees. They loved them!
