Yesterday I had a workshop for one of my friends and it was so much fun! At my workshops we create some projects, learn a new technique and have fun spending time together. One thing I do is make a thank you gift for the host. I am so appreciative of her having her friends over to craft. The above picture is the Mini Magazine and cards that I made for Linda as my thank you gift.
When Linda told me her favorite color was red, I immediately thought of the Peaceful Poppies suite. I started with making the Mini Magazine Holder first and then made the cards. I wanted to use the other designs of paper from the Peaceful Poppies designer series paper pack on the cards. All the designs are so pretty. I wanted them to be simple and easy to make.
I made one of the cards to match the paper I used on the holder. I then used the Poppy Moments dies to create the flower and leaf for the outside of the holder. There is another flower on the other side of the holder.
To make this project you will need the following paper. For a complete list of all the products I used, please see the end of this post.
