Welcome to our NEW AT SU! Blog hop! We are a group of Stampin’ Up! demonstrators from around the world who are Hoppin’ with creative paper crafting ideas to share with you. Today we are showcasing floral cards using products from the new Stampin' Up! 2020-2021 annual catalog.
There are a lot of beautiful stamp sets in the new annual catalog that I had a hard time deciding which one I wanted to use. I was in the middle of coloring this flower from the Prized Peony stamp set and thought, I wonder how this would look colored blue? So, I changed my colors to Pool Party and different grays. Which was perfect because I have been wanting to use the beautiful Pool Party Sheer ribbon. I added the Gray Granite Shimmer ribbon to the Pool Party ribbon for a different look.
I used Gray Granite ink to stamp the flower and then used Stampin Blends to color it. I used the Light and Dark Pool Party, Light Balmy Blue, Light and Dark Soft Sea Foam and Light Old Olive. I stamped the sentiment in Basic Gray to match the card base.
To make this project you will need the following paper. For a complete list of all the products I used, please see the end of this post.
Cardstock:
Basic Gray
- cut at 4 1/4" x 11" score at 5 1/2"
Pool Party
- cut at 4 1/8" x 5 3/8"
Whisper White
- cut at 4" x 5 1/4" for inside of card
- cut at 4" x 3 1/2"
- cut at 1" x 3 1/4"
Peony Garden Designer Series Paper
- cut at 4" x 5 1/4"
I added Wink of Stella to the flower to give it a little shine. I also colored Stmapin' Up! Basic Pearls with my Dark Pool Party Blend. Did you know you can color our pearls, rhinestones and ribbons with our Stampin' Blends? The possibilities are endless!

Beautiful colours together and I love the combination of the two ribbons! I'm dying to play with my set as it just arrived! The delivery here in Canada has been so slow due to the pandemic! You've given me lots of lovely ideas though!
