I just realized that I didn't share with all of you my swap cards from the annual catalog. I made my first card using the Encircled In Friendship bundle, along with the Party Patterned designer series paper. I have to be honest, I fell in love with the dies before the stamp set. My first thought when I saw them was you could use so many different sentiments from so many different stamp sets with them. Then, when I looked at the stamp set, I really liked the sentiments. One nice thing about getting the bundle, you save 10%. Yay!
One tip I have for you when you are using the dies, if you use the very intricate dies, put a Adhesive Sheet on the back of your cardstock before you cut out the design. The first time I cut it out cardstock without the Adhesive Sheet I thought, how am I going to adhere this. Yes, I could use the Multipurpose Liquid Glue, but it could get all over and take forever. Then, I tried it with the Adhesive Sheet. Game changer! It was so easy and it actually helped get the little pieces out from the design.
I stamped the image with Misty Moonlight ink as it matched the designer series paper from the beautiful Party Patterned designer series pack. You can get this paper pack with your Stampin' Rewards you earn for a $150 order or having a workshop with orders totaling $150 or more.
Look at all of the beautiful designs in this designer series paper pack. I love how there are colored patterns and black and white patterns.
I added three of the Elegant Faceted Gems and Fresh Freesia Open Weave ribbon. Did you notice the ribbon? I cut it in half and then tied my double bow. My friend Sherry did this on one of her cards and loved it.
It's Friday!!! Do you have any plans for the weekend? I am going to be working on getting projects done in my craft room and working on my list for my preorder of the holiday catalog. Robin and I have already started planning my Holiday Extravaganza. It is going to be so much fun! I can't wait!
Have a great weekend! I hope it is nice and relaxing for all of you. Sending you lots of love and hugs.
Happy Stampin
