This weekend I will be having my first Christmas card classes of the year. I can't wait! These are one of my favorite classes that I offer each year. I love everything about them. The designing, prepping, teaching and best of all seeing everyone's smiles when the look at the cards they just made. It doesn't get much better than that.
This month I chose the Evening Evergreen bundle, which is the Evergreen Elegance stamp set and Evergreen Border punch, from the annual catalog. I love punches, so this one was on the top of my list.
I added the punched out trees on the bottom of the inside of my card. I love how they pop against the white cardstock.
To make this card you will need the following paper. For a complete list of all the products I used, please see the end of this post.
Cardstock:
Cherry Cobbler
- cut at 5 1/2' x 8 1/2" score at 4 1/4"
- cut at 2 3/8" x 3 7/8"
Evening Evergreen
- cut at 2 1/8" x 3 5/8"
- cut at 1 1/4" x 4 1/4"
White
- cut 2 at 4" x 5 1/4"
- cut at 2" x 3 1/2"
Tidings of Christmas Designer Series Paper
- cut at 2 1/4" x 3 3 /4"
I used the Scalloped Contour dies to cut out the big white piece of cardstock. You can see the Tidings of Christmas designer series paper between the Cherry Cobbler and Evening Evergreen layers. To finish off the card, I added Real Red Rhinestones to the tree to make it sparkle. Don't forget to put an odd amount of rhinestones on your tree. It is more pleasing to the eye, if it is an odd number.
If you would like to see how I made this card and the others from my Christmas card class, join me on Saturday, August 7th at 2:00pm EDT on my Stampin Scrapper Facebook page.
Thank you for stopping by today. I hope you have a great Friday and weekend.
Sending lots of love and hugs to everyone.
Happy Stampin!
