In Color Collection Club Card - Pale Papaya

Usually when I make a card, I only use one or maybe two stamp sets. This time, however, I ended up using 3! I had them all sitting on my craft table and just started using them to come up with this card. The stamp sets I used were Daisy Lane, Sweet As A Peach and Color and Contour.

I made this card for my In Color Collection Club with the beautiful Pale Papaya, which was our color of the month.

Sweet As A Peach Class - In Person and Online

I am so excited that I get to have an in person class! I am also going to be offering this class online. We will be using the Sweet As A Peach Bundle from the annual catalog.

This whole suite is one of my favorites from the annual catalog, especially since it is summer time. Peaches always reminds me of summer and my mom making peach cobbler. The house always smelled so good. Boy, does that bring back memories.

We will be making 6 cards, 3 of 2 different designs, including envelopes. For the in person class the cost will be $15. Deadline for registration and fee is due on Tuesday, July 13th. In person class, you can pay at the time of class, but you still need to register online.

Corner Fold Gift Card Holder Video

When I posted my first Corner Fold Gift Card Holder card, I was asked how did I make it and did I have a tutorial. So, I decided to do a Facebook live last night on my Stampin Scrapper page to share with all of you on how to make this card. On this card I used the beautiful Sweet As A Peach stamp set, Peach dies and the You're A Peach designer series paper.

On the inside of the card, I added a 1/2" strip of designer series paper on the left hand side of the Basic White paper.

I just love how the gift card fits perfectly in the holder.

On the peaches, flowers and leaves I added Wink of Stella to add a little bit of sparkle to my card. I used the gorgeous Pale Papaya Sheer Weave ribbon, which I cut in half, to make a triple bow.

Here is the Facebook Live video that I made last night. Oh my goodness, I was having a rough night. LOL You will see in the video that I made a couple of mistakes, we all do, but I show you how to fix them. I also share with you tips on how to do the shading on the peaches, flowers and leaves. You get a 2 for 1 bonus today!

This card is not difficult to make, you just have to make sure you take your time when you are doing your cuts for the corner fold. Getting the measurements correct and not cutting too far.

Create With You With Hydrangea Hill DSP

In May I had my Create With Friends card class and one of the cards we made was this Let's Celebrate You card. I had originally made the card on the left, which I love. During my class I decided to flip the Hydrangea Hill designer series paper over and use the other side. I love them both, but I have to say, the one on the left is my favorite. Which one is yours?

This is a very simple card that you could easily make duplicates of it in no time at all.

Cardstock:

Gorgeous Grape

cut at 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" score at 4 1/4"
cut at 1/4" x 5 1/4"

Basic White

Hydrangea Hill Designer Series Paper

cut at 1 3/4" x 5 1/4"

I added the Gorgeous Grape sheer ribbon around the Basic White piece of card stock and tied a bow. I added three little dots to match the dots on the designer series paper.

Pansy Petals Creative Fold Birthday Card

I made this fun fold card for my mom for her birthday and she loved it! The Pansy Petals suite on pages 28-29 in the Stampin' Up! annual catalog is just beautiful! I did make this card while the Stitched Shapes dies were still available, but you could easily just cut the squares.

This card looks like it is difficult to make, but it really isn't. I had so much fun making this fun fold card. My mom told me she still has it sitting up in her dining room. Yay! That's how I know she really likes it.

This is a picture of it laying down so you can see a little better how it is cut.

I put a piece of paper on the back of the card so you can put a little note on it if you want to.

I am in love with the Pansy Petals suite. The paper is simply gorgeous, the colors are so beautiful and bright. I love that you can use the Pansy dies to cut out some of the designer series papers, which I did for this card.

Look how adorable the little butterfly is. It is so popular that is is not available right now. Stampin' Up! is suppose to get more in the end of May beginning of June.

New At SU - Triple Accordion Fold With Sweet As A Peach

I wanted to make a creative fold card that I hadn't made before and I wanted to use the You're A Peach designer series paper. So, I went online and starting looking at different types of folds. I found this one, triple accordion fold, a few different times on Pinterest. This fold is very easy and really makes your card have the WOW factor.

Cardstock:

Pale Papaya

cut at 5 1/2" x 11" score at 4 1/4", 7" and 9 3/4"

Pear Pizzazz

cut 2 at 1 1/8" x 5 3/8"

White

cut at 4" x 5 1/4"

You're A Peach Designer Series Paper

This is what your card should look like once you fold on the score lines.

On the inside of the card and on the envelope I stamped the oranges from the Sweet As A Peach stamp set.

I added Pale Papaya and white ribbon around the card to finish off the card. I really like how this card came out and I hope you do too.

Triangle Trifold Mother's Day Card

Happy Mother's Day!

A couple of weeks ago I had a creative fold class, which was a lot of fun! One of the cards we made is called the Triangle Trifold card. This is such a fun card to make. It looks like it is difficult, but it isn't, you just have to make sure your score lines are going the right way. It will definitely put your card in the WOW category!

When you open it up, this is what the inside looks like.

Here is a close up of the front of the card. I used the Hand Penned designer series paper and Brilliant Wing dies. The ribbon is the new Soft Succulent 3/8" Open Weave ribbon. I also used Wink of Stella on both layers of the butterfly.

I sure hope my mom and mother-in-law like their cards for Mother's Day.

Gorgeous Posies Project Kit

I have had this kit on my shelf for a long time and finally made it. Why did I wait so long? I love these kits so much, that I have already ordered two more of them. This kit is absolutely gorgeous! The colors are so rich and elegant. This kit along with the coordinating stamp set, Gorgeous Posies, is on the retirement list.

You know me and how I can't make anything the way it is suppose to be made. I had so much fun creating these alternative cards.

This kit has enough supplies to make 16 cards with envelopes. I made 5 of them as get well cards. I love the font on the sentiments from the Gorgeous Posies stamp set. This stamp set is made to coordinate with the project kit, but you could definitely use a stamp set you already have.

The cards above are the 6 that I made as birthday cards. My favorite is the bottom one where I cut the top layer in three sections. I added some cardstock to some of the cards and embellishments to a lot of them.

These three cards are perfect to send to a friend. My favorite out of these cards is the one on the top left hand side. I love the diagonal cut.

I don't like to make these cards, but when I do, I want to make them beautiful. These are so pretty, that I am going to make more sympathy cards from my other two kits.

Look all the beautiful pieces in this kit. Did I mention that you get a beautiful box, bottom right hand corner, to keep all of your cards in. This kit would be great to make for someone and give it to them as a gift. All you have to do is use one of the cards as a card for them and then give the box to them. You don't even have to wrap it, it is so pretty.

Bingo Cards Using Well Suited Suite

Last weekend I had my first online bingo night and it was so much fun! It was so wonderful being able to craft with old and new friends. I am very thankful for Zoom.

Between playing bingo games, we made 4 cards using the Well Suited Suite from the 2021 Stampin' Up! January - June catalog. This suite is perfect for masculine cards. I know I always need masculine cards and I am pretty sure so does everyone else.

On this card I used the Subtle embossing folder and the Tailored Tag punch. I also used the Balloon Bouquet punch, which has sold out, that was on the Last Chance list.

When I was on Facebook, I saw this card on the Stampin' Up! page. It was created by a talented member of the Stampin' Up! Artisan team. I fell in love with it and knew I wanted to make it. I used one of the dies in the Suit and Tie dies and the Well Suited designer series paper.

This was such a fun card to make! I used the Tailored Tag punch and the Well Suited designer series paper.

I saw this layout a while ago and have been wanting to make it. I thought it was such a great masculine card. You could also make it a feminine card just by changing the designer series paper.

I also made some alternative cards to show everyone different ways you can use this wonderful suite. Above are three of the cards that I shared with my class. Of course, I had to make a Minnie Mouse card. LOL

When I saw this pattern in the designer series paper pack, I immediately thought it would be great on a baby card. The card is a little wider than a normal size envelope. How was I going to make it so you could send it. Then I remembered that we had made a gift bag with a card on it at my Holiday Extravaganza. This is perfect when you want to give a gift and card for a new little angel.

New At SU - Joseph's Coat Technique

Welcome to our NEW AT SU! Blog hop! I love being a part of this wonderful blog hop with other Stampin' Up! demonstrators from around the world. Each month we share different crafting ideas with all of you! Today we are showcasing retiring products from the 2020-2021 Stampin' Up! annual catalog, along with a technique! I decided I was going to try a new technique that I just heard about. Why I haven't seen or heard of it before, I do not know! Can you guess what technique I am talking about?

If you guessed the Joseph's Coat Technique, you are correct! One of my friends/downline asked if I had ever heard of the Joseph's Coat Technique. I had not, but I sure wanted to find out about it. So, off to YouTube I went. Wow!!! It is so cool and so fun to do. There are endless possibilities with this technique.

Since we are showcasing retired products, I decided challenged myself. I could only use retiring products on this card and I did! I used the beautiful Gorgeous Posies stamp set, four of the 2019-2021 In Colors, Pretty Peacock, Rococo Rose, Seaside Spray and Terracotta Tile. I also used the Timeless Label punch and the beautiful Seaside Spray Metallic ribbon, which I am going to miss. I am sure glad I bought a bunch of the ribbon a long time ago. The Seaside Spray is actually one of my daughter's colors for her wedding.

Aren't these flowers absolutely beautiful! I will definitely do this technique more. I think this is going to be an awesome technique for fall projects! My creative juices are already flowing.
