I just love the Count My Blessing stamp set! I am excited to say that it is one of the products that is being carried over to the new Occasions catalog. It is now being offered as a bundle in the Holiday catalog, but will not be a bundle in the new catalog. So, if you want to save 10% now is the time to do so.
This year I did the triple stamping technique on my Thanksgiving cards for my family. This is a fun and easy technique that is so striking once you put it all together.
To make this project you are going to need the following products:
Cajun Craze Cardstock #119684
- cut at 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" score at 4 1/4"
- cut at 3 3/4" x 5"
- cut at 3 3/8" x 4 5/8"
Whisper White Cardstock #100730
- cut at 3 1/4" x 4 1/2"
- cut at 3 5/8" x 4 7/8"
- cut 2 at 4" x 5 1/4"
To do this technique you will want to put your three white pieces together (you will need one of each size above) but only with a little bit of adhesive. What I do is put maybe a 1/4" piece of snail adhesive on the back of each piece and then tap the adhesive with your finger to get most of the stickiness off. You want them to just be held together while you stamp and then you will take them apart.
Once you have your three pieces together you can begin your stamping. I stamped my sentiment, from the Count My Blessings stamp set, first that way I could see better where I wanted to put my flower. A little tip for you for the green ferns is that I rocked the stamp from side to side while keeping it firmly in place. This will help get the image on all three layers of paper. I know, I just told you to rock your stamp! LOL The reason you don't want to rock your stamp, that you can get shadows around your stamped image.

As you may have already figured out, this post is coming out a little bit later than normal. I have to admit that I have been spending time with our daughter, Emily, who is home from Texas. We haven't seen her since July, so I am enjoying as much time with her as possible.
Are you baking today for Thanksgiving? We will be making our pies today! I love to bake and we are going to try a new recipe this year. A pecan pie cheesecake. Doesn't that just sound delicious? I can't wait!
We go Black Friday shopping every year and have a lot of fun. This year will be very different as Erica won't be able to come home for Thanksgiving because she has to work. We are missing her so much. Tomorrow morning Mr. Wonderful will go get a newspaper so we can look at everything that is on sale and make a game plan from there. I know you can get everything online, but it just isn't the same. We always have all the ads spread out on the family room floor while we watch the Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade and make our list.
One thing we do ahead of time is go out the weekend before and look for things, try on clothes, so we can go and just get what we want and not have to worry about that.
Thank you for stopping by today. I hope you have a fantastic day!
