Today I have a fast and easy Christmas card that is so striking. I used two different designs from the Brightly Gleaming Specialty designer series paper (DSP) so I didn't have to worry about them coordinating. That is one of many things I love about Stampin' Up! how everything coordinates. The sentiment is from the Perfectly Plaid stamp set in the holiday catalog.
We were just talking about that in my Christmas card class last Sunday. We all agreed that we love how the ink, paper, ribbon and embellishments all coordinate. I was telling them how when I first started scrapbooking and then making cards, how I would have the hardest time finding the exact color of cardstock to go with my patterned paper. Now, I don't have to worry about it with Stampin' Up! products.
To make this project you will need the following paper. For a complete list of all the products I used, please see the end of this post.
Cardstock:
Night of Navy
- cut at 1/2" x 5 1/4"
- cut at 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" score at 4 1/4"
Very Vanilla
- cut at 2 1/2" x 2 1/2"
- cut at 4" x 5 1/4"
Copper Foil Sheet
- cut at 2 1/2" x 2 1/2"
Brightly Gleaming Specialty Designer Series Paper

This is a great card for a masculine Christmas card or if you need to make multiples of it.
It's Friday!!!! Do you have any fun plans for this weekend? We are going to go and check out some craft shows, which I love to do at this time of year. We are also going to be putting up our Christmas decorations. I know it is early, but I have a very good reason to do it now. I will be out of town next weekend at the Stampin' Up! OnStage event and the following weekend Emily and Jeff will be here. I want to have it done before they get here, so I don't have to do it while they are here.
Thank you for stopping by today!
Happy Stampin and
