So Hoppy Together

 

This little guy makes me smile!  He is so cute!  You can get this cutie for FREE during Sale-A-Bration (now through March 31).  For every $50 or $100 you order you get to pick a product from the Sale-A-Bration brochure.  I also used the Botanical Butterfly designer series paper that is also in the Sale-A-Bration brochure.  I don't know about you, but I love getting things for FREE!!!

To color the frog I used my Basic Black and Gray Granite Stampin' Write markers along with my Blender Pen and Lemon Lime Twist ink pad.

Whisper White

Botanical Butterfly Designer Series Paper

• cut at 2 1/2" x 4 1/4"

The 4" x 5 1/4" Whisper White paper is embossed with the Layered Leaves embossing folder.  I popped up the top two layers with Stampin' Dimensionals and added a Rhinestone in the middle of the tire.  

I have a new wall hanging for my studio!  While Emily was home over Christmas she made this sign for me.  I love it!  

Can you believe it is already Friday!  Time is sure flying!  This weekend we are moving Erica into her new apartment, so we are going to be empty nesters again.  One good thing, she works only 10 minutes from our house.  So, we will still get to see her, but it isn't the same as her living here.

Gift Card Holder & Treat Holder Using Meant To Be

Last night I did my second Facebook Live and I loved it!  I am having so much fun doing them.  I hope you are enjoying them too.  If you missed it, it is further down on this post.

The first project I made was the large gift card or embellishment holder.  I made these for my bingo attendees as part of their goodies for attending.  Inside each one there was a pack of the Heart Epoxy Droplets that are in the 2019 Occasions catalog.  I used the All My Love designer series paper along with the Lovely Lipstick Foil Sheets in the Sale-A-Bration brochure.  Both of the papers are so beautiful!  I tried my best to get good pictures of them to show you, but you will see them better in the video and even more in person.  

This holder would work for a lot of the embellishments in the Stampin' Up! catalogs and also for a big gift card.  What I mean about a big gift card is the ones that come with packaging all around the gift card.  I didn't get a picture of the gift card with the holder as I thought of it as I was prepping for my Facebook live.  You will see the type of gift card I am talking about in the video.

All My Love Designer Series Paper

• cut at 5 3/4" x 8 1/2" score at 2 3/4" and 6 1/2" also score at 1/2" on bottom

Lovely Lipstick Foil Sheets

• cut at 2 1/2" x 2 1/2"

Whisper White Cardstock

• cut at 2 1/4" x 2 3/4"

To finish off this project I added three Rhinestones to the sentiment. 

The second project I made was for the Ghirardelli Caramel Duet Hearts candy.  I thought when I bought these that they were the normal size of Ghirardelli's, but they were a rectangle instead of a square.  I love to create my own boxes for things, so I was kinda happy that I needed to figure out one for this delicious candy!  I gave these to my ladies as their thank you gift for attending my Stamp A Stack class last weekend.

I used the 3/8" Classic Weave Whisper White Ribbon and the Lovely Lipstick 1/8" Grosgrain Ribbon.

Butterfly Gala With Sale-A-Bration Products

You all know how I love butterflies!  So, of course, I had to make another card with butterflies on it!  Lately I have been drawn to the color purple.  So much so, that I even got my nails painted purple!  Now, that is way out of my comfort zone!  I was looking through my designer series paper and came across this beautiful purple paper in the Botanical Butterfly pack.

Young Boy Birthday Card using Geared Up Garage

Any young boy would be happy to get this card for their birthday.  I made this card for my great nephew, who's birthday is next week.  All week you have seen me use the Geared Up Garage stamp set in different ways.  For this card, I used the stamp set again, however, I added another stamp set, Perennial Birthday, for the sentiment.  

Did you notice the paper under the card?  It is a sheet from the Classic Garage 6" x 6" designer series paper!  Did you also notice the gears on the card are the same ones on the paper?  How cool is that!  Yesterday on my Stampin Scrapper Facebook page, I shared a tip on how to cut out the images on the paper.  If you didn't see it on my page, here it is.  

How cool is that!!!  You can get three big group of gears out of every sheet and then you have all the little ones that you can use for other projects.  I added one of the small group of three gears to the top right section.  I thought it looked bare there, so I added more gears.  We are making this card for my Stamp A Stack on Sunday.  I am hoping to have it on Sunday.  I was suppose to have my class last weekend, but we got a foot of snow.  Now, they are saying we could get 5-8 inches of snow this weekend.  If I can't have my class this weekend, then we will try again next weekend!  LOL

For the sentiment I first stamped the background image with a stamp from the Geared Up Garage stamp set.  I used the Gray Granite ink and stamped my image off on a scrap piece of paper first, before I stamped it on the Whisper White cardstock.  I then stamped the sentiment with Black Memento ink.  On the inside of the card and on my envelope I stamped the image you see in the picture above.  I, then popped the Real Red circle using Stampin Dimensionals and used Multipurpose Liquid Glue to adhere the gears.

While I was editing my photos yesterday, I decided to play a little bit.  I have never done a picture in a shape other than a square or rectangle.  This time I decided to try a circle.    I have to say, I like it.

In this picture I love how bright the colors are.  This card is such a bright and cheery card, that you really could use it for anyone's birthday.   

I sure hope my great nephew likes his birthday card!

Masculine Desk Calendar - Geared Up Garage

My best friend, Robin, took home one of the calendars that I made for my customer appreciation event and showed it to her husband.  He said he wanted one for his desk.   This is the one I made for his desk using the Classic Garage suite in the occasions catalog.  

I used the Geared Up Garage stamp set, Classic Garage 6" x 6" designer series paper and the Classic Garage Metal Elements.  I love the little silver embellishments.

Geared Up Garage - Masculine Card

Here in Ohio we had a snow storm on Saturday and Sunday, which I loved!  Everything is so pretty!  I was suppose to have my Birthday Stamp A Stack on Sunday, but I had to reschedule it because of all the snow we got.  

When I went looking on Pinterest, for ideas and inspiration, I found this card created by Debra Simonis.  I loved it right away and loved how it used the Geared Up Garage stamp set, Garage Gears thinlits and Classic Garage designer series paper all from the Classic Garage suite.  I didn't change a thing on this card, it was perfect the way it was.  Thank you Debra for sharing your great card with all of us!

I love the gears on this card, but I didn't think about how many I would have to cut out on the Big Shot for 12 people making 4 cards each!!  I cut out 96 of them!  No wonder my arm got so tired, that I had to start using my other arm.

I popped the layer of black cardstock with Stampin' Dimensionals.  On my envelope and inside of the card I stamped the car that I stamped on the front of the card.

Forever Lovely - Wishing You A Lovely Day

 

This card was created for a special friend for her birthday.  She loves Valentine's Day, so when I saw this paper I thought it would be perfect on a card for her.  I used the All My Love designer series paper, which is in the occasions catalog.  This pack has hearts and flowers in beautiful shades of pink.  I wanted to show my friend that I love her and that she is special to me, so I chose a paper with hearts on it.  

I used Basic Gray ink for the sentiment and Lovely Lipstick for the hearts.  All the details on how to make this card are on the project sheet below that you can download and/or print off.

Desk Calendar and Post It Note Holder

On Sunday I did my first Facebook Live demonstrating how to make this desk calendar and post it note holder.  I had so much fun!  I can't wait to do it again!  I made these for my customer appreciation event last weekend and they were a big hit!  I used the Gingham Gala suite from the occasions catalog to make these.  I love all the different colors  in this suite.  The above picture is made with Balmy Blue and Night of Navy.

The colors in the Gingham Gala designer series paper are:  Balmy Blue, Daffodil Delight, Grapefruit Grove, Highland Heather and Lemon Lime Twist.   I haven't made any in the Lemon Lime Twist or Daffodil Delight yet because I ran out of calendars.  Hopefully they will be here this week.

Love You Card using Forever Lovely

One of my customers, Stacy, loves Valentine's Day.  When I saw this stamp set, Forever Lovely, I immediately thought of her and how she would love this set.  There are coordinating edgelits, Lovely Flowers, that you can get as a bundle and save 10%.  For this card I only used the stamp set.

In the Sale-A-Bration brochure there is foil paper in the colors of Grapefruit Grove and Lovely Lipstick.  This paper is so pretty!  It is really hard to get the total effect of foil paper in pictures.  It is so much better in person!  I wish I could pull all of you through the computer so you could see it.  

You might have heard about the hashtag simple stamping and this card is exactly that.  Simple Stamping.  What that means is, you make a card using paper, ink and stamps only.

Life Is Grand

When I was looking through the new occasions catalog I was drawn to the Life is Grand stamp set.  There are times that I want a big sentiment so I can make that the focus of my card, and this stamp set is exactly that.  Big sentiments.  My favorite designer series paper in the whole occasions catalog is the Floral Romance pack.  There are two double sided designs and two single sided designs that are on vellum.  I have to say the vellum design I used on this card is my favorite.  It is so beautiful!

To make this card you will need the following paper.  For a complete list of all the products I used, please see the end of this post.

Cardstock:

Petal Pink

• cut at 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" score at 4 1/4"

Fresh Fig

• cut at 1 1/2" x 4 1/4"
• cut at 2 3/4" x 3 1/4"

Whisper White

• cut at 1 1/4" x 4 1/4"
• cut at 2 1/2" x 3"
• cut at 4" x 5 1/4"

When I went to attach the vellum to the Fresh Fig piece of cardstock, I really didn't like how the design on the vellum looked muted.   How could I make the design come through, so you can see how pretty this paper is?  I saw the vellum laying on my white craft table and realized that I needed to put a piece of white paper behind it.  I cut it the same size as the vellum so you can't see it.  I then attached it to the Fresh Fig piece of cardstock.  

The sentiment is popped with Stampin Dimensionals and then to finish off the card I put one of the flowers from the Frosted Flower Embellishments.  

This card is a simple card that uses a stamp, ink and paper.  It doesn't get any easier than that!
